Patients can access a directory of dermatologists in Quebec using the following tools:

  • Réseau québécois de la télésanté – This is a directory of physicians offering teledermatology services, including general practitioners in primary care and dermatologists who are members of the AMSDQ. Teledermatology begins with a secure offline virtual consultation between a family doctor and a dermatologist. After obtaining the patient’s consent, the family doctor sends a short form accompanied by 3 to 5 high-quality medical photographs. He or she then receives a consultation report from the dermatologist within 2 weeks. This report includes the diagnosis and treatment plan, with the possibility that the patient may need to be assessed in person.
  • MUHC Center of Excellence for Atopic Dermatitis (MUHC COE AD) – If you are an adult or adolescent patient with chronic atopic dermatitis (eczema) living in Quebec, you can also be referred to the MUHC COE AD. The clinic, which operates out of the MUHC Glen Site in Montreal, is a referral centre for dermatologists across Quebec. To get an appointment at the clinic, please have your primary care physician or current clinician fax a referral request to the number below, or call for more information.🕛 Wednesdays
